She laughed.<\/p>\n
“I wish more passengers thought that way.”<\/p>\n
My husband squeezed my hand.<\/p>\n
“You planned that?”<\/p>\n
I shrugged.<\/p>\n
“I didn’t plan anything.”<\/p>\n
“I just wasn’t afraid to let people underestimate me.”<\/p>\n
For the rest of the flight, the cabin settled into the quiet rhythm of a routine journey.<\/p>\n
