Max stammered, \u201cIt\u2019s not like that. I thought I could stop her from making the same mistake I did.\u201d \u201cWhat mistake?\u201d Kate demanded. \u201cMarrying the wrong person,\u201d he whispered.<\/p>\n
Kate\u2019s voice broke: \u201cThen I guess we both made that mistake.\u201d She walked away.<\/p>\n
